S&C Women and Youth Support Initiative is a registered charity in Uganda. We reach youth and orphaned children across disadvantaged areas, urban slums, and hard-to-reach regions including the Rwenzori mountain ranges in Uganda, empowering women, single mothers, and youth operating in local markets, salons, and youth enterprises by providing training, startup capital, and ongoing progress monitoring.
About Our Initiative
S&C Women and Youth Support Initiative is a registered charity in Uganda established to meet the basic survival and educational needs of women, single mothers, and orphaned children.
Rwenzori Mountain Range Education Support
Reaching orphaned children in hard-to-reach, remote villages across the Rwenzori mountain ranges. We cover school tuition fees, textbooks, exercise books, uniforms, and conduct direct school follow-ups to prevent child labor.
Market Stall, Salon & Fish Business Capital
Equipping women, single mothers, and youth operating in local markets, salons, fish trading, tailoring, and crafts with direct startup seed capital, equipment, and basic business bookkeeping mentorship.
Corporate Governance & NGO Registration
Governed by a dedicated Board of Trustees comprising 4 women and 1 man. S&C Women and Youth Support Initiative is officially registered and strictly complies with all regulations laid out by the government of Uganda.

Our Core Initiatives
Programs designed to address immediate survival needs and establish long-term economic independence across Uganda.

Skilling Youth & Women Through Vocational Training
We empower youth and women to obtain vocational skills including tailoring, cookery, hairdressing, computer skills, motor vehicle mechanics and bricklaying at a partner vocational school in the suburbs of Kampala, in partnership with the Catholic Church.
Women Enterprise Capital
We empower women in business—from home-based food vending and market produce stalls to salons and fish trading—with direct startup seed capital, equipment, and financial skilling.
Practical Vocational Skilling & Progress Field Monitoring
We train beneficiaries, disburse startup seed capital, and conduct regular field monitoring visits to evaluate business progress and educational attendance.
